Michael is proud to be the fourth generation of the Stewart family to lead Charles Stewart and Company.

With a head office in Colac and multiple branches throughout South-West Victoria, the company has built a staff of more than 50 employees including administration, real estate and livestock agents and property managers.

It is a testament to Michael's dedication and hard work, preceded by that of his father Neil, grandfather Colin and great-grandfather Charles which saw Elders Rural Services Limited softly acquire Charles Stewart and Company in November 2023. The soft acquisition ensures that the company still operates under its current name and all clientele can rest assured knowing the same great service will be offered by all Charles Stewart employees

Michael's professional knowledge and work ethic, coupled with his adherence to the company's underlying principles of honesty, integrity and commitment to personal service are all hallmarks of his 39 years working in the industry. Michael has established a reputation as one of the leading and highly respected real estate operators in the industry.

Michael is heavily involved in local community charities, making a significant contribution through his involvement with Anam Cara Hospice for South-West Victoria, where he is Patron, foundation member, past fundraising chairman and management committee member. He's also involved in the significant annual fundraising for the Colac Chaplaincy Appeal.

Please note, since the time of filming, Charles Stewart and Company has been acquired by Elders Rural Services Australia Limited and therefore Michael's title of Managing Director is no longer applicable.
