Back in December the very popular Kylie Box (nee Cropley) and her husband Jono  welcomed a baby girl, named Charlotte Elizabeth Box.   Kylie will be well known to many Stewarts clients as a long serving member of the cheerful administration team at head office in Colac.

Andrea Munro and her husband Adam, both of whom are associated with Charles Stewart Western Victoria at Coleraine also had a baby girl in December.

In January another memeber of the Colac head office team, Ali Genua and her husband Alex welcomed a baby boy they named Beau.

We are looking forward to the stork visiting again in 2012!

Birregurra Steer Weaner Sale,  Monday 16/1/2012

 Some 2,900 locally bred steers, of which Charles Stewart and Co. yarded 1,183

head.  The quality of steers was still very good, however the weight was some 20-30 kg less and the prices sold $60-$100 down on last year’s very buoyant sale.  Competition from local buyers, fellow  Victorians, and NSW from Inverell.

Prices per kg ranged for the heavier end 360-429 kg $208, $2.15, medium steers,300 – 360 kg $2.15-$2.35, light steers $2.25 – $240.  Most notable the preference for weaned steers, some 10-15 cents dearer.

Total yarding of 2,100 head consisting of heifer weaners of all breeds, two year old joined heifers, joined cows, and cows and calves,  of which Charles Stewart and Co yarded 1,128 head.  The competition was a lot wider spread, with South Australia, Tasmania, New South Wales and the usual local buyers, Gippsland, Warrnambool and Northern Victoria all bidding keenly.

The Warrnambool office of Charles Stewart Western Victoria recently
conducted a free home appraisal campaign just before Christmas to promote its expansion
into residential real estate, in addition to its existing rural property business
across Western Victoria.

As part of a strategic campaign to create market awareness of their
brand, Charles Stewart offered participating homeowners a romantic getaway for
two people at the Mansion Hotel & Spa at Werribee Park, an exciting package
including dinner, wine, breakfast and accommodation in one of the superb suites
at Werribee Park Mansion. The second prize in the draw was a Toyworld gift
voucher worth $300.

The campaign had a very positive response and resulted in several new
listings for the Warrnambool office.  The winning entries were drawn on 22/12/2012 and Charles Stewart offers  congratulations to the following lucky people, Mr & Mrs Towler of South Warrnambool (pictured) who won the Werribee Park Getaway and Mrs Day of
North Warrnambool winning the $300 Toyworld gift voucher.
