Raised on a dairy farm at Beeac, James Breen has agriculture in his blood and a genuine passion for supporting farmers and rural communities.

James began his career with Charles Stewart & Co at just 17 years of age, starting on the front reception desk. Eager to learn every aspect of the livestock industry, he spent additional time during the week working in the yards alongside respected agents Tim Gibson and Terry Dove, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and building the foundations of his career.

Today, James is a highly regarded Stock Agent and Dairy Specialist, known for his strong client relationships, practical industry knowledge, and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for his clients. Whether working with dairy farmers, conducting bull sales, or operating at the Colac Livestock Selling Centre, he takes pride in helping producers reach their goals and maximise opportunities for their businesses.

One of the most rewarding parts of the job for James is the close connection he maintains with farming families. His approachable nature, trademark big grin, and genuine interest in people have helped him build lasting relationships across the region.

Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his family, sharing his passion for agriculture and showing them the industry he loves. When he's not working with livestock, you'll often find him in the veggie patch, enjoying the simple pleasures of country life.
