In 2000, Jamie achieved one of the highest honours in the profession when he was crowned Victorian Auctioneer of the Year and subsequently finished Runner-Up in the National Auctioneering Championships. These achievements further cemented his standing as one of Australia's leading livestock auctioneers.

Jamie has long been dedicated to developing the next generation of industry professionals. For five years, he was actively involved in Auctioneering Schools conducted throughout Victoria in Dandenong, Bendigo, and Wodonga, sharing his expertise and mentoring aspiring auctioneers.

His leadership qualities were recognised in 2000 when he was appointed to the Board of Directors at Charles Stewart, where he has contributed significantly to the ongoing growth and success of the business.

A particular highlight of Jamie's career has been his involvement in stud stock sales, where he has established a highly regarded reputation for delivering outstanding results. His professionalism, market knowledge, and ability to connect buyers and vendors continue to make him a sought-after auctioneer across the industry.

Jamie enjoys the diversity and flexibility that working as a Livestock Agent provides, creating his own working week around regular livestock markets at Ballarat, Mortlake and Colac. His focus remains on building strong relationships and achieving the best possible outcomes for his clients.

Beyond the livestock industry, Jamie is passionate about giving back to his local community. He serves as a Board Member of the Winchelsea Bowls Club, supporting the club's ongoing development and community involvement. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and pursuing his love of lawn bowls.
