On the eve of the third month of the year 2022, Charles Stewart & Company are breaking records with a whopping 14 on farm and conjunctional AuctionsPlus clearing sales being booked across February, March and April.
The increase in the number of clearing sales comes off the back of strong property sales over the spring and summer of 2021.
"The property job has been so buoyant and strong in the spring and summer of 2021, this is backed by the fact majority of properties in our Spring Property Portfolio 2021 are now sold," said livestock and rural property consultant Gerard Bohan.
With the pandemic having impacted the production and distribution of new machinery and equipment, the demand for good quality, used machinery is high. This demand has naturally been reflected in the success of sales that have so far been conducted and there continues to be good inquiry on forthcoming sales as producers look to secure hard to find equipment.
The Charles Stewart & Company core business activity continues to be livestock, real estate, clearing sales and herd dispersal clearing sales, which enhances the offering agents can provide to their clients.
"We are quite unique in the sense that our company can provide a comprehensive offering that sees our company invested in multiple facets of our clients’ business, right through from sheep and cattle sales to property and clearing sales.
By having access to specialist staff we can achieve the best results for our clients when assisting in all types of sales across south-west Victoria," said Bohan.
Charles Stewart utilize their in-house marketing team in tailoring advertising and marketing campaigns using both traditional and digital media for all sales, customising their approach to each client.
Marketing activities for clearing sales can include email direct marketing campaigns to a database of more than 2,500 people, Facebook posts and in some instances Facebook events, website listings, digital listings on AuctionsPlus and the rma Network, plus print media advertising in a variety of local and statewide newspapers.
"We see a large number of inquiry come through from our website and Facebook page where we upload our listings alongside quality photo and video content along with a description to give viewers a good understanding of the items we have on offer," said Gerard.
