A Skipton clearing sale set for Friday August 9 has something for just about everybody.
The sale includes a 2011 SK200 Kobelco excavator with minimal engine hours and a 2010 John Deere 9670 header with only 1690 engine hours on a long list of well-maintained major farming plant and machinery on offer.
The sale at Yallambee at Stoneleigh near Skipton has an extensive list of general farming equipment, livestock and woolshed equipment workshop and general farming and antique sundries. The property owners are looking to start their next farming venture with a clean slate after taking up an opportunity to sell the property.
Charles Stewart and Co agent Gerard Bohan said this was a big sale and we’re anticipating a crowd.
“This is an exceptional offering with many of the tractors and machinery on offer well maintained with low mileage. The plant and machinery, farming sundries, vintage collectibles will go under the auctioneer’s hammer from 10am with the larger machinery to follow,” he said.
“There’s a 8x5 HD tandem tipper trailer, a 12x6 tandem trailer with stock crate, a 6x4 box trailer with crate, a couple of wool presses, a newly purchased Kubota ZG227 zero turn mower and Stejcraft Malibu skier boat with 350chev motor a number of firefighting units, fuel tanks/ trailers, spreaders and sprayers rounding out the offering.”
