Fairview Polwarth Ram Sale Leaves Vendors Encouraged

A top price of $5,450 for lot one kicked off a successful sale at the annual Fairview Polwarth ram sale.

The top priced ram was one of three to go for more than $5,000 with lot three and lot four selling to $5,050.

There were only three buyers in total for the day all hailing from NSW, with one buyer scooping up 11 rams including the top priced, lot one.

On the day of the sale, 17 rams were sold to an average of $2520, with the sale grossing $42,850.

The inclusion of AuctionsPlus proved very valuable given all rams were sold unseen by interstate buyers.

Fairview Polwarth’s Greg, Kaye and Sam Potter were proud of the sale as they continue to look to the future with next year’s sale rams weaned and growing out nicely.
